1. An Overview of Data Protection

General

The following gives a simple overview of what happens to your personal information when you visit our website. Personal information is any data with which you could be personally identified.

Data Collection on our Website

Who is responsible for the data collection on this website? The data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the Imprint of this website.

How do we collect your data? Some data is collected when you provide it to us. This could, for example, be data you enter on a contact form. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This data is primarily technical data such as the browser and operating system you are using or when you accessed the page.

2. Hosting

Static Hosting

This website is hosted as a static site. The provider — Static Host UK — automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server inquiry
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, which allows the processing of data to fulfil a contract or for measures preliminary to a contract.

3. Analytics

Umami Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused, open-source analytics tool. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across websites. All data is aggregated and anonymised. Our Umami instance is self-hosted on EU-based infrastructure.

Static Host UK Analytics

We also use Static Host UK Analytics, a lightweight, privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies or collect personal data.

4. Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details — including the contact information you provide — will be stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We use Static Host UK Forms to capture and relay content you submit. We do not pass on this data without your consent to third parties.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to request information about your stored personal data, its origin, its recipients, and the purpose of its collection at no charge. You also have the right to request that it be corrected, blocked, or deleted. For this and other questions about data protection, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the Imprint.
