SEND Haven Farm is a Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to providing therapeutic, nature-based experiences for children and young adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
We believe every child deserves access to calm, sensory-friendly outdoor spaces where they can connect with animals, nature, and their own potential — at their own pace.

A Social Enterprise
SEND Haven Farm is a Community Interest Company based in the Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire area. As a social enterprise, every penny we earn goes back into providing therapeutic sessions for the children and young adults who need them most.
We work with Local Authorities, schools, and charities to deliver free SEND sessions — because access to nature and animal therapy shouldn’t depend on your postcode or your budget.
The Story Behind the Farm
I’m Axel, the founder of SEND Haven Farm. As a parent of children with additional needs, I know first-hand how hard it can be to find safe, welcoming spaces where your child can just be.
Too many farms and outdoor centres are overwhelming — noisy, crowded, unpredictable. I wanted to create something different. A place where the environment itself is part of the therapy. Where children can stroke a cat without being jostled, feed a chicken without being rushed, and sit in the quiet without being told to “join in”.
That’s what SEND Haven Farm is about. It’s not complicated. It’s just kind.
